A Fisherman’s Way
This series observes the Vietnamese fisherman’s basket boat as a reflection of the textural and color elements of the sea. The boats are a culturally significant means of procuring food in every-day life along the country’s coastal towns. Images were taken along the coastline of the small beach town of An Bang Beach, Vietnam (2019).
Printed on watercolor cotton rag (315 gram archival paper). Paper possesses a matte, slightly textured surface.
